Areas of HR expertise
Robert has delivered on a wide range of HR-related consultancies.
Projects delivered include HR practice and policy re-writes e.g. recruitment, sickness absence, bullying, disciplinary, capability etc. HR strategy planning, organisational stress management, remuneration research, reward strategies, contract reviews, job evaluation schemes, assessment centres, employment of ex-offenders, restructuring, equality legislation.
Process and methodology
Each piece of consultancy work is different and therefore each project has a clear and detailed project plan agreed.
The plan will include objectives of the project, the methodology to carry out the work, and exact costs. It will set timescales and include ‘staging posts’ to update on progress.
Reports generated by the project will clearly separate out actual findings from interpretation and any recommendation.
HR Advice and Support Service
STILL HR provides an ongoing, contract based HR Advice and Support Service to smaller organisations.
This high quality, intimate service provides expert guidance on operational HR matters for those smaller organisations which are often without any internal HR specialist.
Robert takes time to become familiar with the organisation; its purpose, structure, ethos, policies etc. and usually liaising directly with the Chief Executive, Robert becomes like an outsourced HR Director.
The extent of the services provided are clearly defined and agreed with the organisation, and provided on an annually renewable contractual basis.
