Overview of mentoring service

Mentoring provides individuals the rare opportunity to have time dedicated to them!

As a mentor with specialist HR knowledge, Robert provides such opportunity for a variety of mentees, who have varying needs, from a variety of organisations.

Whilst often extremely beneficial to the mentee, the STILL HR mentoring service is inevitably also beneficial to the mentees’ organisation.

Approach to mentoring

STILLHR considers mentoring as a partnership between two people built upon trust.

As a mentor Robert offers support in terms of personal development and on specific issues for action. He promises to:

  • Listen to you
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Encourage you
  • Motivate you
  • Challenge you
  • Respect you
  • Use his experience and knowledge to help you

Practicalities

The mentoring contract usually extends over 9 to 12 months and usually consists of five 2 hour sessions.

The mentoring sessions take place at locations jointly agreed and are always free from distraction.

Though based in central London, Robert is happy to travel where necessary.

Availability

To give the ongoing focus necessary, Robert limits the number of mentees he is working with at any one time to four.
